Slab Top Post and Rail
No two pieces of timber are ever the same. Each table is totally unique! Every beautiful characteristic of timber is on display in this piece. The 90mm x 90mm post legs feature and abundance of ‘fiddleback’ as does the tabletop. We estimate this tree to be over 400 years old.

9 x coats hand applied Danish Oil. Hand buffered wax.
This piece of timber was salvaged from dead log retrieved from flood plains near Corryong, Victoria. Due to the drought and the Goulburn River not flooding many beautiful Red Gum trees died as their survival relies on this flooding. This timber was destined for firewood!
