Red Gum Pedestal Base
Whilst this table is very traditional in style, it is also practical to sit around. The base is constructed using solid pieces of very old Murray River Red Gum. Whilst the top is exquisite, the base also exhibits some beautiful craftsmanship.

Type of Timber:
Murray River Red Gum. (Top is one single piece).
Type of Joinery:
Mortice and tenon joints. Mitred beading in the base and the top is floating.
3 x coats clear lacquer (30% gloss). Hand buffered wax.
Timber salvaged from a dead log that was timber was destined for firewood.
Top made from a single piece and hand inlayed, Fossilised Red Gum timber parquetry.
